Vinterior is a treasure trove when it comes to lighting; its breadth and variety are exceptional, with countless styles, eras, and finishes to discover. That abundance can feel a little overwhelming, especially when searching for just the right piece to transform a space. With the darker autumn evenings approaching, the role of lighting in creating warmth and atmosphere becomes all the more important. To help narrow the search, I’ve gathered ten of my recent favourites that balance character, craftsmanship, and timeless appeal.
1. HOLLYWOOD REGENCY WALL LAMP IN GILT METAL
Elegant wall lamp, made in the 1970s in a Hollywood Regency style, is made of steel painted gold with patina effects. I have had my eye on this piece for some time, saved within my favourites. I wish it came as a pair, then it would be perfect for my space.

2. Large three tier murano glass tube chandelier
Italian vintage chandelier in Murano glass and nickel-plated metal structure. The armour-polished nickel supports 48 large white and pink glass tubes. The alabaster technique created in Venetian glassworks gives the glass an elegant grain.

3. VINTAGE PINE AND GLASS 5 ARM CHandelier
Vintage pine 5-arm chandelier with matt opal glass shades. This stunning 1970s Scandinavian piece has the most beautiful turned wood detailing. The simplicity of this piece makes it perfect for a child’s bedroom or playroom.

4. Italian Vintage Murano Chandelier
Murano Italian glass chandelier. Fantastic chandelier with caramel and white “lattimo” glasses and a nickel-plated metal frame. It has 53 big, monumental glass petals. The vintage dealer notes that the glass petals are of very high quality, but the photos do not do the beauty, land ustre of the piece.

5. Pair Of Wall Lamp Metal And Brass
Pink coloured pair of wall lamps made of brass, manufactured in Italy, likely in the 2000s. The double cone lampshades are adjustable at the joint. Simple and classic style, which would work beautifully in a dressing room, bringing warmth to the complexion.

6. Zonca 'Nuvola Piccola' Mid Century Italian Wall Or Ceiling Lights
These unusual mid-twentieth-century wall lights were made in a run of twelve, and nine are available for purchase. With their playful and cloud-like form, they can be used as either wall or ceiling lights. The 'Nuvola Piccola' model was produced by Zonca Italia and is made of metal and perspex.

7. Large French Chandelier In Oak Louis XVI Style With Six Arms
This wonderful, large, solid oak chandelier makes a real statement. It hangs from a turned ceiling rose with three handmade steel chains. The six gently curved arms are carved with floral decoration and are joined to the centre stem that has further gilt flower decoration and a central light bulb.

Golden brass wall light, which has been carefully crafted by skilled craftsmen. This wall light perfectly combines the aesthetics of golden brass with the charm of craftsmanship. 9. Mid-century coloured chandelier
Striking and original mid-century chandelier with 6 coloured articulated lamp shades. The chandelier can be set in multiple ways as seen in the pictures. I have my eye on this piece for my son’s bedroom in our newly renovated home.

10. VINTAGE VETRI MURANO MUSHROOM LAMP
Beautiful vintage swirl glass mushroom table lamp from Murano, Italy.
The lamp has the original Vetri Murano sticker, see pictures. The lamp dates from the 1970s. The electricity cord has been renewed from the switch up to the plug.
