What Laura Can Help You With:
Space planning and layouts
Lighting design
Kitchens and bathrooms
Bespoke joinery and storage
Finishes, colour, furniture, art and window treatments

What Laura’s Clients Say
The final design captured exactly what I wanted
“From start to end, it was a pleasure to work with Laura on the redesign of a disused junk room into a sleek and stylish home office. Laura took the time to really understand and get to the heart of how I would use the room, and how I wanted it to reflect my personality and desired aesthetic. The final design captured exactly what I wanted, with detailed layouts and a thoughtful approach to curating everything from furniture to accessories, covering a range of options to meet my needs. Laura was open and honest about budgets throughout the project, she worked flexibly around my schedule, and she was always punctual in delivering promised solutions. I would love to work with Laura again. ”

Thank you Laura for turning our house into the dream family home we always hoped it could be.

That combination of high standards, perseverance and people skills is rare
“I've worked closely with Laura on numerous interior design projects across Surrey, and she consistently delivers to the highest standard. Her attention to detail is exceptional. She has a real talent for transforming spaces in a creative way, and also feels considered and personal to each client. What sets her apart is how she is with everyone involved, clients and tradespeople alike. She's warm, approachable and a genuine pleasure to work with on-site. And when a project gets tough, and the client's energy starts to fade, Laura is the one still driving it forward, pragmatic enough to find solutions, but never willing to compromise on the end result. That combination of high standards, perseverance and people skills is rare. As an interior designer in Woking and across Surrey, I couldn't recommend her more highly.”
— Rob, Private Client in Woking, Surrey

Laura designs around those everyday moments.
The result is a home that runs more easily, feels calm and still suits you as your circumstances may change.
It’s a home you’re excited to come back to at the end of each day.

Interior design in Surrey starts from £699 for Laura Charlick's Designer for a Day service. Creative Direction starts from £1,499 for a single room, several rooms or the wider direction of a design. Full-service, full-home interior design typically ranges from around £20,000 for an apartment or smaller property, to around £35,000 for a larger family home, and £50,000 or more for high-specification, luxury properties.
The fee depends on the property, how complex the scheme is and which stages Laura looks after. Her tailored proposal sets out the scope before you commit to anything.
-
No. Laura also helps with homes that simply aren’t working: rooms that never feel finished, a new house that doesn’t feel like yours yet, or a layout that no longer suits how you live. That can mean rethinking furniture, lighting, colour, storage, window treatments and art, with no building work at all.
If you are planning a renovation, bring Laura in early, ideally before layout, lighting, kitchens, bathrooms and joinery are fixed and before your builder is briefed. She can still join projects already under way. The options just depend on what’s been decided and how far the build has got.
-
Yes. For a single room, a consultation (in person or online) or Designer for a Day is often the right fit. Laura can advise on layout, colour, furniture, lighting, joinery, storage and how to work in pieces you already own. If the room needs a fuller service, she’ll say so before you commit.
-
Everything from the first ideas to the finished home: space planning, concept and detailed design, lighting, kitchens and bathrooms, bespoke joinery, finishes, furniture, art and window treatments. Laura produces the technical drawings and schedules, sources and orders every item, coordinates suppliers and trades, and keeps an eye on progress on site. She also oversees the final installation, when everything is delivered and put in place.
-
An interior designer is worth it if you want to make confident decisions about layout, lighting, joinery and furnishings, and your investing money into your property. It’s especially worth it when your home involves lots of connected decisions, specialist suppliers or several trades. You end up with a home that works properly and feels like yours, with far less second-guessing along the way.
-
It’s very common, and helping with it is part of Laura’s role. She listens to what each of you wants from your home, finds where your ideas overlap and shows you options that bring them together. That way you reach decisions you’re both happy with, rather than one person compromising.
-
Once you contact Laura, she will reply within 24 hours to arrange a relaxed phone or video call. You don’t need a finished brief or a fixed budget. If it looks like a good fit, Laura visits your home, then sends a tailored proposal with the recommended scope, process and next steps. There’s no obligation until you decide to go ahead.
